I am Waseem Syed, an AWS-certified CloudOps Engineer with a background in Computer Science and hands-on experience in technical operations, automation, and system optimization at Amazon. I am passionate about designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions that solve real-world operational challenges.

Over the past few years, I have transitioned from a Process Control Specialist at Amazon to building a strong technical foundation in AWS Cloud Engineering, focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, and troubleshooting. My projects showcase real-world deployments using AWS services such as CloudFormation, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, RDS Proxy, Certificate Manager (ACM), and OpenSearch, along with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.

Each portfolio project demonstrates my ability to combine system thinking, debugging, and root-cause analysis with infrastructure automation and secure deployment pipelines. I have also integrated AWS Amplify to host and manage this portfolio website, connecting it directly to GitHub for seamless version control and continuous deployment.

Beyond certifications, I am driven by curiosity and a deep interest in troubleshooting complex systems, automating repetitive workflows, and optimizing performance through data-driven insights. My goal is to continue evolving toward roles like AWS Cloud Support Engineer and CloudOps Engineer, where I can combine analytical problem-solving with modern cloud technologies to deliver customer-focused solutions.
